Fire School Cost

Thank you for your interest in Fire School. Below are the financial costs associated with attending this life-changing ministry training:

Make all checks payable to The River.
*The application fee is non-refundable.
**Tuition also includes the cost of attending conferences and local outreaches, but it does not include meals, housing, textbooks or the cost of overseas outreaches. The first payment of $1,250 is due by August 28 with the remaining balance due by October 15. Tuition is non-refundable except in emergency situations and with agreement of faculty, in which case tuition will be pro-rated, minus a $500 withdrawal fee.

You may ask, "Why is the cost so high?" Actually, our ministry school is cheaper than many schools with a similar focus. The first reason that we have any fees at all is that it helps us cover our costs to maintain our facility, pay the staff who give their time to minister to you, and fly in anointed outside speakers and teachers. The second reason is that we want you to take this school seriously. People place a higher value and commitment level on things that have a cost, while they tend to be more careless with things that they get for free.

We realize that this amount may seem high and possibly too much for you. However, we believe that the Lord provides for His children. "And my God will meet all your needs according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19, NIV). If the Lord has called you to be a part of Fire School, do not be intimidated by finances. We will believe with you and pray for provision.

Powerful ways to overcome financial barriers:

First, ask the Lord to make a way for you to attend; He is in the miracle business anyway. Nothing is impossible with God (Matthew 17:20). Jesus said in Matthew 7:11, "If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!" We place more confidence in God's ability to provide for you and to bless you then we do that finances will stand in your way.

Second, ask the Lord for creative ideas for getting the finances. In Matthew 17:24-27, Jesus instructed Peter to go fishing, and the first fish Peter caught had a coin in its mouth which took care of Peter's needs and the needs of Jesus. What can we learn from this? Well, Peter was a fisherman by trade. So we know that God's miracle power flowed as Peter was faithful in his work. God put a supernatural blessing on Peter's natural work. We encourage you to be faithful and diligent in the work of your hands. As you do so, ask God to bring blessing and increase. Ask Him to give you success beyond what is naturally possible.
